Durga

The Hindu victory goddess Durga who I previously depicted in Pistis Sophia: The Goddess Tarot for the 6 of Wands. She is the warrior aspect of the Goddess, wielding weapons and riding a lion into battle to slay demons. I chose gold and purple to give a regal and spiritual aspect to the painting. Acrylic on board, (23in x 31.5in).
