Decided to do a Horned God design after being asked on numerous occasions whether I had one. I didn’t originally envisage him being black but as he emerged I thought “why not? Why does the Horned God in paintings always look like your average long-haired white pagan dude?” I discovered as I went along that Legba/Elegba/Eshu in Africa is sometimes depicted as horned and virile, rather than an old man as he often is in Vodou, which influenced the finishing touches.
