Saint Elen of the Ways

The mysterious sovereign Goddess of the British Isles, Elen of the Ways, who crosses paths with Saint Elen of Caernarvon, ‘Elen of the Hosts’ in the Mabinogion. Queen Elen ordered the construction of major castles and Caernarvon, Carmarthen, and Caerleon, and roads across Wales linking the sites. The Goddess Elen of the Ways has been linked to the leylines of Britain and the ancient migratory pathways of deer.
